A signature is an image or some words that displays under all your posts. Mine is composed of words! *points down* Your notes are a place to put pictures you like (how I use them) or things you need to remember- where only you and site admins (Patty Pea and Rivella) can see them.

You take the URL of the photo, and place it in between brackets that look like this: Make sure you have the URL of the photo and NOT the URL for the website (I did that once when I was first joining message boards and whatnot....photo doesn't work). And if it's a photo that you have saved on your computer, you should upload it somewhere first. I suggest Photobucket.com. You can create an account and store TONS of photos on their (plus it frees up space on your computer). Then too, after you've uploaded your photos, they give you the url option with the brackets already. And also, please make sure the photo for your signature isn't over the standards Tegan pointed out. We want the board to be able to load fast (even though, I don't think anyone uses dial up anymore...lol). Oh yeah, and all you need to do is put that URL with the brackets where you put the text for your signature. If you need any more help, let us know! |
