so this weekend I have time on my hands again... and I wanted to use it to work on LIB some more. Yes, i'm gonna try and change the colours. But I'm also gonna try and fix the whole "poll" thing. We can't seem to be able to make polls now, without your whole computer falling to pieces...well that's not true, but it just doesn't work. This is the thread in whcih u can tell me, or patty what you'd like to see fixed  |

Well, I think we might consider something, if it's possible. I've seen a lot of people logged on when I am who have been on for time periods ranging from a few months to a year or more and have never posted, or just never posted an an introduction. This makes me a bit uneasy because you never know who these people are, and why they joined the forum. Also there's a lot of people who join and activate their accounts, but never post.
My point is, maybe you should start deleting people's accounts if they don't post at all, or don't post for a significant amount of time. I know that it's a lot more work for you and Patty to do, but maybe there's a way to get the forum to do it automatically? Another option is to recruit some forum members to become "Member mods" and do things like deleting accounts that haven't been used, and also PMing people to remind them to post an introduction.

You must've read our minds, deary..lol. Jan and I were discussing when I was at her place deleting old accounts/inactive ones/etc. eventually. I know she'll be busy making the board look lovely. I have tomorrow off so I might be able to work on deleting some people, but unfortunately, my next day off after tomorrow won't be until April 4th. We'll try and get as much done this weekend as possible though, have no fear. |

There...I went through and deleted (HOPEFULLY I was successful) all the people that either never posted OR I knew for a fact haven't been here in quite some time.
I'll still need to sit and see who hasn't been here in eons though...but atleast I got over half of the "non-posters" knocked off the board.

Heya, LIBers! If you notice the member count is lower today than yesterday, don't be alarmed...lol. I'm going through and deleting accounts where people haven't logged on since 2005/2006. Even though I only deleted a few so far, I'd like to finish that up in the next few days. And remember to keep telling your friends about LIB! |

O.k., so.. ...everyone that hasn't logged in since 2005/2006 and even a few from early last year have been deleted. Because at the moment LIB isn't about quantity..it's about quality. But still....tell your friends.  |

okay another question about fixing holes.... as u cans ee we've had some guests posting not so nice messages on our chatbox. Patty and i already have an idea who they are...to be honest, we know for sure....but we can't do anythign about it. The only solution would be removing the chatfeature and just have our random chats in the random thoughts thread.
What do u think?

well tbh I only use the chat when i'm kinda bored and when there hasnt been a message on in ages. So i wouldnt miss the chatbox. plus I get to chat to u guys on here...that's the whole point of a forum anyway And i agree with u |
